Remember when I wrote that the VA is oft touted as the best of the tax-supported/socialized health care systems?
Well, even President Bush thinks it needs a little fixing.

Getting Dole and Shalala together is an amazing thing, and getting them to agree on anything is even more amazing. The VA system must be bad if those two can come together.
It is an insult that we don't care more for our wounded warriors. Maybe Congress will get this right.
